Los Angeles lovers Wunder Wunder have been busy of late, whether it be releasing their debut album Everything Infinite late last year, touring with other musical projects and now, scoring a short film by budding film maker Victor Pakpour. Pakpour, who also directed the visually stunning video for Miami Horror's Real Slow, has collaborated with Wunder's Aaron Shanahan to create an ambient soundtrack to P.S. I Love You, a film about the beauty and sadness of being alone, and which premiered on NOWNESS this week. Said Pakpour on the collaboration, "combined with the soundtrack it works to further the emotional flicker we're exploring. Aaron Shanahan did such an amazing job on the score. It was a really cool process working together."
Gold Fields' latest single Hold Me is a gift that keeps on giving. Following its release to an amass of bloglovin’, including UK's Clash Magazine, the track is back with a package of remixes, featuring flips by YesYou, Tyler Touche, KLP, Kamandi and Pat Lok to deliver five unique takes on the original. Nashville trio Basecamp have collaborated with local dance company, Found Movement Group to produce a masterful live performance titled Gradient, showing at Nashville's Andrew Johnson Theatre for 4 shows only, starting February 27 through March 2. Basecamp provide an intricate arrangement for the production, combining arresting melodies with soulful lyrics that truly make an impact on all the senses. This couldn't be more true for Hermitude, who have just been announced alongside Knife Party, Kygo and Dillon Francis (to name a few) on the Counterpoint Festival lineup, taking place in Kingston Downs, Georgia on May 22-24 this year. In a huge week of exciting announcements for Hermitude, the Sydney boys have just been announced on the massive bill that is Wakarusa Festival, hitting Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas this June 4-7, 2015. The news follows last week's release of the huge Governor's Ball Festival lineup in which Hermitude are also billed.
